This was the original house. The owners’ requirements for the renovations were to provide larger bedrooms for their children, add on a front and back deck, and add a carport. As part of the renovations the owners also moved the laundry upstairs and added two toilets. At a later stage the flat roof covering the front entry way was replaced with a high pavilion style roof (the old roof was removed during the first build and the new pavilion roof was added later). Peter replaced all of the existing roofing during the process, as well as the existing patio ceiling, to lift the whole look of their home.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
The owners designed the majority of the build before Peter was engaged, however Peter recommended a few changes along the way and simplified the owners’ design. Peter’s suggestions included the carport, which the owners originally had as a free standing cover. Also Peter’s idea to extend the existing roof trusses straight out, was a great idea the owners thanked him for.
Peter recommended a lot of the materials and was always mindful of low maintenance products which the owners really appreciated.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
This photo is at the completion of the renovations. The owners say the build process was very smooth and efficient, and Peter was very helpful and easy to work/deal with. The extensions have made their home more comfortable to live in and the new decks are thoroughly enjoyed in the warmer months. The renovations have also made their home aesthetically pleasing from the outside. The family are very happy with the results.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
